Sustainable banking service: Introducing our new ATM fee structure
At ZA Bank, we are committed to providing you with convenient and transparent banking services. To ensure we can sustainably offer our core services for free to the vast majority of our users, we are making an adjustment to our ATM withdrawal fee structure.
Details of the new fee structure:
- Effective Date: 1 May 2026
- Monthly Fee-Free Withdrawal Limit: HKD 80,000
- Fee for Withdrawals Above the Limit: 1%* of the amount exceeding the limit
- Scope: All local and overseas ATMs on the Visa network
Why are we making this change?
This adjustment allows us to maintain our free services for the vast majority of our users. The monthly fee-free limit of HKD 80,000 is designed to cover the everyday cash needs of most users. This new fee will only affect a small number of users with high-volume monthly cash withdrawal needs.
How does this affect you?
For most of our users, your ATM withdrawal experience will remain unchanged.

If your total monthly withdrawals are equivalent to HKD 80,000 or less, you will continue to enjoy our ATM withdrawal service for free.

If your total monthly withdrawals exceed the equivalent of HKD 80,000, the 1% fee will only apply to the amount that is over the limit.
Example: If you withdraw a total of HKD 90,000 in a calendar month, the fee will be calculated as follows:
Amount exceeding the limit: HKD 90,000 - HKD 80,000 = HKD 10,000
Handling fee: HKD 10,000 x 1% = HKD 100
How Do I Track My Monthly Withdrawal Usage?
You can check your cumulative withdrawal amount at any time in the ZA Bank App:
1. Log in to the ZA Bank App
2. Tap "Account" and select your ZA Card
3. Go to "Monthly Spending" to view your monthly ATM withdrawal records

*For overseas cash withdrawals, charges will apply in accordance with the overseas withdrawal fees stated in the Fee and Charges Guide for Individual Customers. These include a fee of HKD 50 per transaction and 1.95% foreign exchange rate mark-up fee.
