【ZA Bank】Security tips🛡️: Travelling with ZA Card 💳

The Year of the Dragon is in full swing🐲 and so is the growing travel boom across the world! Are you planning to travel overseas over the next few months, and splurge on shopping, delicious foods, and relaxing times? 🍻 Then you’ve got to be prepared and protect your finances just in case!
Below are key features that can help you protect your ZA Card:
✔ Adjust your spending and ATM withdrawal limits
Going to someplace beautiful, exotic but a bit more adventurous? ⛱️Worried about having your ZA Card information swiped?
No worries! To protect yourself in advance, go to the ZA Bank App's ZA Card page > Set Limit > Adjust your transaction limits on the “Spending Limits” page. That way, you can limit how much money you can spend with your ZA Card! In addition, don’t forget to switch on the Travel function on the ZA Card page! It offers you a smoother experience for overseas transactions by reducing the chances of blocked overseas ATM withdrawals and/or spending.
✔ Lock your card instantly
Oh no! 😱 You’ve been enjoying your holiday, but now you can’t find your ZA Card anywhere! That’s all right, just take a deep breath and relax! Go to the ZA Card page > Lock card > Press “Confirm”. Now nobody can use your ZA Card!
Secondly, if you reeeeally can’t find it even if you’ve turned your hotel room upside down, take another chill pill, because everything’s fine! Go to the ZA Card page again > Replace card > Report a lost or stolen ZA Card. Afterwards, just confirm a few details, and you’ll get a brand-new virtual ZA Card immediately and a physical ZA Card will be sent to your correspondence address afterwards! 👌
✔ Mobile wallet binding and spending notifications
Linked up your ZA Card with a mobile wallet for the first time? We’ve got this covered too! As a security measure, ZA Bank will need you to verify your mobile wallet binding and/or send you notifications for the first three transactions that are conducted through your mobile wallet. 📱 That way, you’ll have time to check and confirm that it’s not somebody else’s mobile wallet that’s using your ZA Card!
Before you jet off in a plane, go to the ZA Bank App and customise your level of protection now! 🏃
BONUS TIP: How do I identify SMS messages sent by ZA Bank?
It's easy! Just look out for the SMS Sender IDs - #ZABank, #ZA Bank, or #ZA_Bank!
